This holiday season, Curbly asked our friends, peers, and favorite design bloggers to stop by, have some hot cocoa, and tell us what gifts they’d like to receive this year. Today, we’re excited to welcome Ez Pudewa, the founder and editor of Creature Comforts, one of our favorite handmade lifestyle and design blogs.
Hi there! My name is Ez (pronounced ee-zee) and I am most often found on my blog Creature Comforts where I write about DIY craftiness, share my photography, and post design inspirations…as well as any other thing that strikes my fancy. For me the holidays are all about the time you spend making memories with your friends and loved ones. It’s fun to dream about presents under the tree, but even more than the gifts that will be unwrapped, the laughter and craziness of my huge family squeezed into one small house are what I look forward to most of all this holiday season. (Okay…and an iPhone. I’m hoping someone in my family will grant that one holiday wish for me). 😉
1. Ndakinna Boots — My love for these boots runs deep…however they are far outside of my price range, so they exist permanently on my “if only” wish list.
2. Apple iPhone 4s — I might be the last blogger alive without an iPhone and I’m crossing my fingers that this holiday I’ll finally join the world of the functional. Oh please, oh please.
3. Kiva — Micro loans that change lives. Over the past few years I’ve been able to take a small amount of money and loan it over and over again through Kiva. It has been incredible to see how a small thing can go so far and do so much good. I actually love this program so much that I even started a lending team in 2008 (anyone can join).
5. Jewelry by Odette NY — Jennifer creates the most beautiful jewelry imaginable (and is a lovely person too). I’d be thrilled to find any one of her pieces waiting for me to unwrap.
Ez Pudewa is the founder of Creature Comforts, which she calls a “a blog about celebrating the tiny details that make life so amazing and looking to find beauty in the unexpected. Blogging has also become an incredible way for me to connect with people and things from around the world that I would otherwise have never known (like you). I love sharing this creative space with you and am constantly inspired by all of my readers and this amazing community of ours.”
