Sean Orlando and crew decided to build a Steampunk treehouse at The Burning Man Festival. Aside from all of the artistic implications, who could them for going to a little extra trouble in order to have some ‘downtime’ from the chaos of 25,000 artsy partiers?
Sean further explains:
The Tree House may indeed remind people of a simpler, more innocent time. It may serve as a reminder of childhood, and an example of how humans might live in harmony with the unnatural nature of nature. However, the tree is also meant to inspire critical thought on the part of its dwellers, encouraging its inhabitants to reconsider the often-paradoxical relationship between humans and the environment of which we are a part.
Or, boys just love to build tree forts.
