September is a transitional time of year… the kids are going back to school, the weather is getting cooler and the landscape is changing. Which means that it's a great opportunity to give your living room a refresh too. Ahh, autumn. You make me want to light bonfires in my backyard, start drinking cocoa on the daily, and cozy up in anything warm and snuggly. This Old House meets Project Runway…and the outcome is fabulous!! It all started with an oversized plaid work shirt and became a fun and flirty vest, a la Marc Jacobs. To make one, you’ll need this stuff:
a hand needle
a seam ripper
a sewing machine
a shirt, oversized, plaid flannel with a back yoke
