Martha’s peeps sent over this deeee-lightful Halloween stop motion short, which is included in the October’s iPad addition of Living. Yeah, how about that? If I want my paper Living version to have stop motion, I gotta flip the pages real fast. Problem with that is the story is totally confusing. Anyhoo, take a look and enjoy!

Turn your button-up shirts into pillows!

Check out Martha’s clever idea for repurposing button-up shirts into pillows. If the shirts have a pocket, it’s suggested that you remove them with a seam ripper, but I think a pocket would be a great place to stash the clicker!

Supplies you’ll need:

‘One shirt with a button placket
Seam ripper (optional)
Paper, for making pattern
Roll cutter
Pillow [form]’

Wrapping Paper and Bow Conservation

Running out of wrapping paper and bows and need more FAST? I saw this on Martha yesterday and put the Curbly spin to it.

Wrap your present in newsprint. I like the stock quotes as they make a nice, uniform background.

Cut a strip of wrapping paper to circumference the present, fold in edges, wrap around package, tape strip together in back of present. Continue Reading
