Remember the toilet paper roll sculpture from awhile back? Here’s another arty idea using the same medium: Owls (and a very disinterested cat). If I’d diy ’em, I’d dunk some TP tubes into a food color/water bath, let ’em dry, fold ’em and take a Sharpie to ’em.
Ah yes, the ‘I’ve run out of TP while sitting on the throne conundrum’. Do we yell for our boo to fetch a replacement roll, or do we maintain our dropped trou and hobble to the TP stash to get our own? I say we don’t do either and have a spare nearby nestled in something like Etsy’s vijako’s toilet paper holder. This particular model sells for $25 bucks.
Toilet paper origami, also called ‘toilegami’, is practiced in upscale hotels. Basically, the cleaning staff folds the first piece of toilet paper on the roll into a shape. The most popular is the triangle fold, and it’s a great way to greet your guests when they visit your bathroom. I do this so-simple -it-doesn’t-really-need-instructions fold all the time.
