Okay, I’m gonna go there. OMG. That about sums up my reaction when I saw Nicole’s Rose Apple Tart. We can take Nicole’s word for it that the tart is delicious, but there is no doubt that it is gorgeous. Thinly-sliced apples are gently layered and  rolled to form the roses. The recipe itself is quite basic, consisting of sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, butter, apples, and your favorite pie crust recipe. How to: Make Custom Cake Candles Using Cookie Cutters

With the help of cookie cutters, these custom-made cake candles couldn’t be easier to make. The secret—besides the cutters—is  beeswax sheets. Simply cut 2 matching shapes out of the beeswax, sandwich them together with a length of wick running down the center, and you’re done.
