We’re halfway through cleaning and organization month at Curbly and all week we’ve been putting housekeeping tips and tricks to the test. Cleaning windows with newspaper and coffee filtersPolishing silver with baking sodaUsing wax paper instead of Swiffer cloths. And today I’m subbing Swiffer cloths with wax paper. It’s cheaper, for sure, but does it work? Read on to find out…   
This one really excited me. Probably because I have 1900 square feet of hardwood floors to clean and (TMI) I shed a LOT.

Cookie Cutter Stairway Makeover

Whether this really is a cookie cutter house, I don’t know, it doesn’t matter.  I do know that I lived in a suburban subdivision house that had this same stairway, like every other house in the neighborhood.
