Hallelujah! My husband was changing a bulb that was stuck in the socket of this UGLY fixture and he broke it!!! Now I can look for a new fixture. I’m looking for a new fixture or, better yet, a mid-century fixture that gives off enough light. I’m looking for interesting ideas. The table is staying but the chairs will be replaced. I’m still working on what to do with the greenhouse view.
There are probably geeky communities in which I could ask this, but I hope some of the Curbly technogeniuses might have some ideas:
So, I just got a new Mac Book Pro, and I'd like to hook it up to my LCD television. (To get better use out of it, since we rarely watch TV [it was a Christmas gift]). Two of the horizontal pieces (yellow/pink and green/purple) were not attached, as seen in this photo:
How should I fix this? Epoxy? Industrial Strength Adhesive? Can it be welded or soldered without screwing up the white powder coat?
How does one mess with the colors so they become as such?:
Am I correct in thinking the process is similiar in both photos? (They're by the same artist.) I have a pretty capable camera. I realize the exposure is great, but I certainly see some processing as well.
