Skip the paint and go straight for awesome with this DIY furniture makeover project. It’s a fairly simple process that shouldn’t occupy much more than an afternnon of your time. All you’ll need is:

  • old furniture
  • printed image(s)
  • Liquitex Medium Gloss Gel
  • small paint brush

Make It: An Easy DIY Photo Display Ledge

I made something similar to this during my photo school days, but it used foamcore and double stick tape and was not nearly as cool (or sturdy). That said, I LOVE this idea for a simple and creative way to display photos, prints, and art — for cheap!
