I was at my local craft store the other day looking of retro scrapbook paper. They had one. ONE. A search of the internets, however, uncovered Apple Scrapbook, which has a dozen darling retro scrapbook papers you can download for free. Perfect for virtual scrap-booking, of course, but also great for craft projects. If you’d rather not give your color cartridge the workout, they’d look great in black and white too. A book made of envelopes is a great way to store little mementoes. It’s kind of like a filing cabinet in book form. Jaine Drake shows us how to make a basic model with these few supplies…..
- 4 envelopes, all the same size
- 2 pieces of plain card stock, the same size as the envelopes
- 1 piece of plain card stock as wide as the envelopes and 12″ long
- patterned scrapbook paper
Jack desribes the process of using a computer layout program (like Photoshop, or even Word, if you're clever enough) to arrange the photos, and with a few clever folds, you've got a perfectly attractive and handmade memory.
